Empowerment

Why is it that every human being has an innate desire to succeed? Could it be a God given dream to live an abundant life?

Every so often life can get tough or maybe other things get in the way, you become busy with the every day chores you have to do, our weekly commitments and your job. Then you hear of other people doing amazing things and you wonder why you are not.

Firstly, it is important to realise that when you hear about other people’s lives, they are telling you the highlights or the mountain top moments. you are probably not privy to all the disappointments and setbacks they have experienced to get there. When you start out and experience a set back, you start to think there is something wrong. Instead I would like to suggest that every great achievement is a series of smaller steps, with ups and downs, twists and turns. It is essential to know that inside, even if it is only the size of a mustard seed, you have what it takes to succeed. It is important to focus on your heart’s desires and on what you feel you have been assigned to do, if you have something that has been assigned to you. There is power in clarity. Vision leads to action.

I am convinced that you all have what it takes to achieve the things you want to achieve. That is why empowerment is so vital. Empowerment is more than just saying you can do it. You have what it takes. Empowerment is saying I or we believe in you. We are standing here cheering you on. We are rooting for you.

People who carry a culture of empowerment know how to stand with others and how to allow others to be real about the ups and downs and twists and turns they are experiencing on their journey.

Empowerment allows people to thrive and rejoices with their success. It reflects the peace and joy of heaven. It builds relationships and community, redefining setbacks as mere obstacles to overcome and spurs people on to run the good race.
